Genetic Variability and Association Analysis of Lisianthus (Eustoma grandiflorum (Raf) Shinn) Advanced Lines Under Mid Hill Conditions of Himachal Pradesh, India

The present investigation was designed to assess the extent of variability, genetic advance, heritability and interrelation different traits 19 lisianthus genotypes at ICAR-IARI Regional Station, Katrain, Kullu, HP during 2019–2021. mean performance exhibited considerable range together with large value for most characters. trend variability genotypic level similar that phenotypic some path analysis clearly indicated total number flowers per plant directly associated height shoots plant. It is imperative these should be prioritized while improving in lisianthus. cluster revealed existence diversity among evaluated genotypes. first principal component (PCA) score explained 33.798% variation mainly genotype flower yield. PCA biplot effective showing distance their discrimination based on key importance Genotypes Ktlis-1, Ktlis-17, Ktlis-5, Ktlis-9 Ktlis-7 were superior tested therefore could exploited breeding improve Hence, characters high along gain given due attention development desirable through simple selection. Further, from clusters identified specific may used as parent programme an objective traits.
